I downloaded FRAPS and started playing the Crysis demo, I pressed the hotkey and it started recording for 30secs and I watched it on my computer, then I tried to upload to YouTube but in the end it said failed to load because it couldn't recode it or something stupid.

    How can I fix this?

What format is the file in? It might be a custom form.

If I can remember, recorded videos from fraps are uncompressed. Try compressing the file by converting it.

Any video maker/editor will do, even Windows Movie Maker will do.
Just import the video to WMM, add a title or some video effects while you are at it, then publish it.
