Anyone else dissapointed? Every match seems to be another zerg rush.. I hate that. That's not a real strategy game to me. Am I the only one frustrated by that?? :(

Meh, just boot up COH! :)

Red Alert 2 was awesome, until real strategy games started coming. Hence, Company of Heroes.

True. COH really is a good game. You know, I think I will pull that back out. Never did finish it!

Oh, I also got into that Red Faction beta on Xbox. Sweet game! The destructuble buildings are cool to mess around with.

    Dude.

I would LOVE to take that beta key off your hands If you don't like the game.
    I'm literally buying a notebook for RA3.

    And I don't have a key... :(

I've got no problem with that. Can beta keys be used more than once? Never tried it.

    You series???

I'm in the beta too and I am thinking the other way around... The gameplay is better than CnC3 Tiberium Wars for sure however the graphics wasn't that good... CnC3 has better graphics imo. Everything has a hard counter so you just can't spam tanks alone anymore. In order to win you need to scout at multiple places, then use combine arms and attack his weakest point. ;) And oh of course you need to expand and grab more cash first. Empire of the Rising Sun FTW!!! :D

I'm playing on an M1730 with dual 8800's. No problems at all on high with a 1920x1200 res. Have not tried the ultra high option yet.

I hope its better than a mash tank rush like CnC3.

Is there micro involved in this game? (i.e. do units attacks miss moving targets based on a %? [like warcraft 3?])

It IS better than CnC3 and gosh I hated those tank spam rush. As I said earlier everything has hard counters in this game so spamming tanks alone will not get you far... From what I see rushing is harder to do in this game and I think there is more micro involved in this game than in CnC3 coz every single unit has a second special ability in this game and scouting is extremely important but I'm not sure about the attacks %...

By the way I running it on my notebook (specs below) ultra high settings with no AA at 1680x1050 with 30fps all the time. Last time I played CnC3 I have to set shadows to medium (everything else maxed at 1680x1050) in order to get 30fps...

I remember in those 4 player maps when there are LOTs of buildings & units all shooting and explosions everywhere it actually drops down to 22fps if I use max shadows, which isn't good... :(

I run Command And Conquer 3 on the lowest settings possible with an average of 10 frames per second...

And that is why I'm here.
