    Red Alert problem

    Downloaded and made it compatible with MS95 but it will not start. Note about entry point not found? I have XP. Thanx.

    Why did you make it compatible with MS95 if you have XP. This could well be the source of the problem.

    Or you can get the free MS Virtual PC 2007, make a virtual system, and play off of that.

    IT is the red alert 95 version. It was given as a direction by someone on downloads. OK I will give it a shot.

    Nope it does not install without the compatibility switch. Note says this is 95 only and you are XP.

    Use VirtualPC (or VMware) and make a virtual system, and install XP or Windows 95/98 if you want.

    Then you can easily run Red Alert on it.

    I believe that the problem is that he is using Vista... which does not give that Compatibility option anymore... only as low as XP now.

    So it may work for XP, but not for Vista..

    The Virtual Machine might be the best way to go now.

    No Gophn he is using xp not vista...maybe the patch is also working for vista but it tested on xp
