Just kind of a weird issue, but occasionally the screen when playing, will kinda flash these jagged, brown looking pieces on my screen (kind of seems the background can't change fast enough and is becoming choppy).

Specs are in my sig, but I can run ALOT of good games with my rig, i.e; GTA IV, Crysis, Ghostbusters, etc etc.

All the specs are set to minimum. Is it something that went wrong with installing, or is this a more of a resource demanding game than I thought?

I don't have the issues you mentioned but the game is actually pretty demanding on the CPU because of all the physics of the explosions of objects & buildings. The game frequently lags when there are lots of explosions (when you destroy any of the large buildings/structures) on my C2D @ 2.65GHz. But nevertheless I finished it and it was worth playing & fun at times because of all the crazy explosions & cool physics. :p I'm kinda disappointed at the story and the game missions itself on the other hand though.

Glad you caught me right before logging out.

    179.48 is my current one.

I have a list somewhere in this mess I call a room of past drivers used, because I was having an incredible time finding one to run GTA IV smoothly.

Ya, I did assume it was demanding, but it does not seem to happen if I am blowing things up, or that sort. Only when driving, sometimes walking. And I can run GTA IV quite well, so I only assumed I could run this well as well.

But ya, the game is pretty fun. I beat it on the Xbox, but decided to get it for the PC.

I say try a newer driver, before switching to the NP9850 I was playing RF:G on a Toshiba X200 with an 8700m 512, it ran ok, I think I was using one the 190.15 or 190.45 I can't remember. I just finished it and the bonus missions for the Marauders last night, great game and a lot of fun.
