This is more like a beta-test. SLI support will come of course, optimal Maxwell utilization like DX11 etc when Win10 retail launches.

Fermi and earlier GPUs will probably be excluded from DX12 though. That is to be expected. Cant say I blame them for excluding pre 2012 hardware

nVidia would love to exclude Fermi to force people to upgrade, but they posted on their blog that Fermi was supported. Which is actually good since the 675M (I think it's the fastest Fermi still alive for notebooks..) and the desktop Fermi cards are still very viable for gaming. You don't NEED the latest kelper or maxwell to actually enjoy today's games, though it helps. It's good they are supporting it, I think.

Of course, they might just come in and say Fermi being supported in DX12 is a bug and remove it from some other post-release DX12 driver. :)

Fermi will support DX12, just not at this early stage

oooops didnt mean do offend your rig there :p

Best case is Fermi support for DX12 of course, but from a business perspective, who knows. If Nvidia say, sorry, only Kepler and beyond get DX12, AMD is there to put pressure on them anyway with announcing support for GPUs many years back.
