    Hello folks,

I'm a little bit upset after realizing that Nvidia is probably not even going to support the Go 7400 in Vista while I bought my freaking XPS M1210 a week ago :((

The graphic performance of this card is horrible I do not know if it is due to the driver or the card performance. I heard the new gen of XPS M1210 is going to come out with Geforce 8400M graphic cards, I'm wondering if I can replace the Go 7400 with the new Go 8400M (They are both Think & Light line products with lower power consumption so I guess their size would be similar) when it comes out?

Just a thought, thank you for your input.

I dont think so. From what people are reporting the new M1210 is going to be THINNER and LIGHTER meaning that the internals might be changed a bit.

Please read the stickies. We know that the next laptop is going to be an entirely different size and design, so you can count on it not working.

If you only bought it a week ago and are disappointed with the performance, why not just return it and wait for the XPSM1330, which sounds like it might be coming out soon?

you know how dell's return policy is 15% fees and shipping charge etc... well, i do have a core 2 duo with x1950 xtx as desktop, maybe when I'm comparing the 3d performance of this laptop with my desktop is a bit too much.

Only thing I'm really upset about is the Go 7400 will go unsupported in Vista, can't find a single driver on their website...

Thanks all for ya input :)

Don't bother with their drivers. Go to laptopvideo2go and download the latest Vista driver + modded inf file so you can install the driver for your mobile card.

Doesn't dell have a 30 day or 15 day or something guarentee where you can return it for no problem at all if you don't like it?

I know they had one 2-3 years ago.

It is 21 days, but unless there is something wrong with it you only get 85% of your money back...they call it a 15% 'restocking fee.'
