Request: Definitive benchmarks for the x3100

The drivers for the x3100 getting close to their potential for performance (compatibility still has a ways to go). Can someone please test the x3100 with ACTUAL benchmarks and compare it to GPUs that are alleged to be similar performance-wise?

These threads are filled with screen shots of people of the x3100 running the latest games, however it is usually a shot of some situation that requires NO processing power. If someone is willing to do a definitive benchmark report for the x3100 it should be done with actual benchmarking utilities from games. For example, Company of Heroes has a performance test in the graphics options menu.

PLEASE include a comparison to the 7400 and 8400. The x3100 system should probably be tested with WinXP, as the x3100's winxp drivers give better performance for most games right now. There are a few exceptions such as COD4 however. The x3100 system should also have 2 gigs of ram, because performance is significantly better than with 1 gig for the x3100.

*this would make a great article for notebookreview.com. There are a ton of threads in many forums discussing the x3100's performance and virtually none of them include scores from ACTUAL benchmarking programs. The article would probably generate lots of traffic

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE would some competent person who KNOWS how to benchmark, test the x3100.

 

would you stop making these threads...your more annoying than the people making things up about the card...you allready have one thread on this card why start another....just going to annoy other people as well.

 

The only other thread I created was the "for a good laugh..." thread. I am requesting a definitive testing of the x3100 because everyone is confused about the x3100's actual power. Hence the x3100 vs 'whatever' threads being created by PEOPLE OTHER THAN ME.
