There will be more Square-Enix games coming to Steam, so don't rule out FFXIII completely. Just give it a 1% chance, instead of the usual 0%.

Star Ocean 4 would be nice too S-E. Please.

Oh, and all will be forgiven if you give me Front Mission 5 with subtitles slapped onto it.

i think they will be close to dmc4 level of optimization which was very good so a mainstream 8600m gt and max it and run it smoothly

Eh, this games graphics are way more advanced than DMC4. 8800M GTS or bust I say, because the 9600M or less won't be maxing this.

This is making me eager to want to know how well will the game play on 2 8800m GTX's and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.67 Ghz... ummh... Been waiting on this game for about 2 years already.

Off-Topic: Cannot wait to build my new world-record desktop.

I am waiting for Street Fighter 4 though. RE4 was a disappointment as they didnot have mouse support but thanks to that cracker who patched that game with mouse support.

I can't stand Street Fighter IV. My buddy bought it for $60 just so we'd have something to play out here in Iraq. Jeez...I really loathe that game.

I am very excited for RE5, but I'll probably end up buying it for 360; I suppose I might also get it for the PC.

If you've played RE4, then you've played RE5 (I've been playing with my buddy on the PS3). The big difference is the inventory, you can only carry 9 items at a time, so ammo feels a lot shorter if you want to carry more than 2 guns. Oh, body armour takes up a slot :) I wish the game was scarier, but well, Dead Space takes the prize on that one.

It's lots of fun, especially with a friend, but it doesn't quite live up to the early trailers. There are no mass crowds of 30 zombies, maybe 10-15 max :(

RE5 is pretty fun, sure it's absolutely nothing like the older ones, which were more focused on survival horror and mystery (which were better imo), but as an action game it's alot of fun, alot more so since it has Co-oP. This is a game I'll definately be buying if they get the mouse support right on it, I don't want this to be anything like RE4 for PC, that was absolutely terrible, and the mouse support crack was terrible as well since it had acceleration like an analog stick, and was incredibly slow.

RE4 did not have mouse support for a reason - with mouse this game would have been very easy, besides keyboard controls weren't that hard to learn and I actually liked them once I learned everything

Well I'm not sure about you but I'm not a fan of using WASD to free-aim. It definitely adds to the difficulty since it's so sloppy, but it's not fun to use. I really don't think they intentionally made the controls terrible for difficulty reasons, just the company that ported it was a bad company. I just hope this time around it's actually going to be developed and published by capcom/ubisoft. Look at Lost Planet, and DMC4, those were both fantastic ports, and why? because they weren't thrown off as a side project for some random no name developer to port to PC.

It's Direct X commonality that makes Xbox 360 to PC and PC to 360 ports so attractive. Games that release on the PC, 360, and PS3 simultaneously like Far Cry 2 are built on PC first, as their are pretty much no set in stone graphical limitations except for what kind of hardware to expect gamers to be using at release time and you can set a realistic goal to achieve on the consoles. Building the PC version gets you all the textures and graphics at their highest levels and then they can be reduced and tweaked from their as the dev also gains much of their Direct X commonality from here as they move to the 360, and on the 360 they can use their PowerPC CPU code on the PS3, but they'll have to code for the Cell and it's SPEs as well as translate the code into OpenGL or some other API for the PS3. Other big thing with console releases is tweaking the game code to work with limited amounts of RAM.

I heard guys on gametrailers the PC version probably will never release ...
If some publisher will pay may be but capcom will make quite big delay ...
next year or year and half ...
