I m trying to open a fullscreen 640x480 program without resizing (desktop currently running at 1024x768) is there anything that can force it to run in the middle of the screen (like blank bars on the sides?) using OMEGA driver now.

right-click on the program icon. You should have an option for "run in windowed mode" whether that will work is a different matter ;)

Is it a DOS game? You could give DOSBox a go.

No, maple story isnt a DOS game. Have you tried using the maintain aspect ratio option?

I'm not sure if this is the same process for the Omega drivers or not, and it may not be applicable to your display, but try the process posted here

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=1887222&postcount=15

In the Catalyst Control Center, open your display panel's properties, go to Attributes, and check "Fixed Aspect Ratio"

    Hope that works!

Right click the desktop, go to properties. Go to the settings tab, click advanced. Go to the displays tab, click your laptops display pannel. Click the "Expand While maintaining aspect ratio check box.

I'm using omega drivers with winxp pro right now but I assume a similar option exists in the catalyst drivers as well. In the advanced video card options, displays tab, click on panel and there will be two options, expand to full panel size which will stretch the program until it fills the whole screen, and expand while maintaining aspect ratio which will only expand the program until it hits either the top of the screen or the sides.

I think what you want is the second option, maple story will still look a little fuzzy, but it won't be stretched anymore =). Was a great game btw, just gets a little repetitive after a certain point.
