    Hi,

As some of you may know, there are driver settings that allow a certain resolution that is not native to either be stretched to fill up the screen, or to be scaled up while maintaining it's aspect ratio (no stretching).

This works for all 4:3 resolutions I've tried. Also, 1280x720 works (a 16:9 resolution, our notebooks are 16:10). However, it doesn't work for other resolutions like 1920x1080 or 1360x768 (another 16:9). 1280x768 works but that's not 16:9. By "not working", what I mean is that they go out of the screen region.

    Any idea why this is?

    Thanks,

    Flaviu

No one?? Does anyone also experience this? I have seen this happen on Omega's 6.3 (and previous) and ans new as Omega's 6.7 which I will be uninstalling soon.

Probably just an oversight by ATI's driver programmers. Another reason I dislike ATI's drivers and hardware. Send ATI a note, detailing exactly what the problem is and what you're doing to reproduce it. They may take it into account. But I've found (at my old job) that you have to make a massive public deal about it to get them to respond to anything. Their drivers have been horribly broken for a while.

Can anyone at least confirm having the same problem? Have any of you fixed it with new drivers?
