    HI!

i know its a question from 2004, but still good for me. Ive seen at my local games shop Return of the King for 9.98€. I was wondering how would it run on the following laptop:

    Intel pentium IV, 2,8ghz
    INTEL 82852 graphics card (64mb)
    512Mb RAM

my graphics card doesnt support T&L, but EA GAMES released a patch to make Return of the king support intel graphics cards.... still, will i be able to run at medium settings or so?

    thanks

Sorry for replying late. This is what I found on the net:

    Min System Requirements:
-System: 700 MHz or faster Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor or equivalent
    -RAM:128 MB RAM
    -CD-ROM: 8X CD-ROM
    -Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM
    -Hard Drive Space: 2000 MB
    -Mouse: Yes
    -Sound Board: Yes
    -DirectX: DirectX v8.1

    Recommended System Requirements
-System: Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon XP processor or equivalent
    -RAM: 256 MB RAM
    -CD-ROM: 16X CD-ROM
    -Video Memory: 64 MB VRAM

I think it should run good on your notebook. Do not expect highest settings, but low-medium should run fine I think.

    Charlie :)

    Sorry

Yes that is possible. Because the 64 MB mensioned here is a dedicated VRAM and not shared RAM like Intel's.
Still I believe your card should run it on low settings.

    Charlie :)

I'd have to agree with Charlie. My guess is it will run but don't expect too much in terms of settings. Unfortunately, Intel's integrated graphics are just not very powerful.
