Hey guys in the notebookreview forum. I was reading through some of the questions and responses and noticed that this is definitely the place to come for high-quality feedback. With that, I was wondering if someone could give me an sort of estimate on how well my notebook will perform with gaming software.
I had recently ordered a customized HP notebook, model dv6000z. The specs are as follows: Vista Home Premium, AMD Turion (64) X2 Dual-Core Mobile TL-58 1.9 Ghz, 2 GB DDR2 System Memory, 256 Nvidia Geforece Go 7200, 120 GB Hard Drive.
Well, that's the basics. I would just like to know, aside from being a general college use notebook, if it will run gaming software smoothly or at all. Things in mind: Half-Life 2, a few MMORPGs.

    Much appreciated.

Your laptop will not game very well, but a good deal of games should run servicably at low settings.

Half life 2 should run, it plays ok on mine 9600se wich I think to have the performance a little below the 7200 ,both have 64bit memory 4 pixel pipelines but the 7200 is newer and has higher clocks, it should play half life 2 on medium or high (no hdr) in 1024x768 or even 1280x800
