Is a complete fail atm :(

Dunno how many of you all pre-ordered it to get into the week long early start but I go to login and the queue times are between 2 hours to 12 hours each server.

Their forums are swamped with people like me who can't get in. Even if you bite the bullet and wait the time out i've been DC'd out of queue before forcing to start at the back of the line again :(

Such a fun game, hope they get their act together soon.

can't really understand all the posts regarding this issue, like posting 200 different posts at the main forums is going to make it better...

i say be patient, nothing else you can do, i have pre-ordered but haven't even downloaded the client, ill wait to pick up my hard copy next week, and even then may wait a couple of days before logging in.

give people time to rank up and get out of the starting areas.

Starting area I don't think is the big thing mtness, people can finish those areas and it will have no effect on the queue as when the server is population capped there is not much to be done regardless of what zone they are in.

i disagree it seems as though they have a cap of population for the starting areas, after people move off into the free-roam stuff it opens up more slots in the starting areas allowing more people in......this is just what people have been saying at the main forums.

1000's of people in the starting zones isnt my idea of fun.... :(

Bland game. Would've been great 4-5 years ago, but it's pretty meh. Not saying there aren't good points about it, but I'm more excited about the GW2 info released in the past month and the upcoming demo at PAX East.

I agree. I was in the beta and was thoroughly unimpressed by the gameplay. Though there was alot of time and attention put into the game. Desperately waiting for Guild Wars 2 also.

QQ moar, tons of threads of this on the main forums. Easy solutions, dont pick the most popular servers to play on. It's the same for every MMO launch, there are always qs and staggered entries. The q wait sucks but the game itself is running without issue which is the biggest plus. Man when Aion launched the servers crashed for 6-8 hours and no one could play.

I am enjoying Rift alot, but it is just something to pass the time until GW2 :)
