Right Choice For Mp Fps Game?

i just got bf2142 and im having doubts on wether to keep it or not... my other two options were COD2 and MOH:A ...

i went with 2142 because i heard COD2 is VERY difficult because so many people are "experienced" to where you will get mutilated and i didn't get moh:a because i heard the multiplayer wasn't all that and because the fan base online is not extensive...

did i make the right choice in 2142 over cod2 and moh:a?

I would not recommend COD2, most of the players there are already experienced and it will be hard to catch up. You'll probably think they're hacking or something of the sort. You're probably referring to me in the post, =)

Battlefield 2142 is certainly a good choice, I have enjoyed both that and BF2.

I would recommend getting Counterstrike 1.6 and Counterstrike-Source

1.6 is a little faster paced because of experienced players but the basics of the game are easy to get a grasp of. Counterstrike-Source on the other hand is quite easier. Most of the newer people tend to go into Counterstrike-Source so it should be quite easier to play rather then 1.6.

 

ahhh, your the one that told me that cod2 would be like playing against hackers lol... i think i made the right choice in terms of mp... i also heard moh:a is a bad wwii mp game compared to others.

 

I personally haven't tried MOH:A so I can't comment on it.

There are some other FPS's that are free of charge...I have not all of them but they are good from what I heard.

Well the reason MoH:A player base is small....is because it's less then a week old. What do you expect? The SP for the game s pretty good, and well it's WWII, it covers everything fine if you ask me. It's not COD2 in terms of WWII, but it's a solid game. And yeah you'll get murdered hardcore in CoD2, rifle only matches are fun....

Anyways, BF2.2142 are good games though admittingly they have their problems. I personally don't like it, but Quake Wars isn't that far off now and might interest you.

 

COD2 isn't that difficult, only hackers and cheaters making it look difficult for noobs...
I actually spent my whole summer break doing nothing but playing COD2, and it has paid off... went from a total noob to a pro in 2 months...

check "Top Players", I was in the top 10 back several weeks ago... stopped playing once the school is back in session...

COD2 is not that difficult. The first time I played it I did fairly well, I think it's more that you need to be good at FPS games in general, not just COD2!

I personally though 2142 was fairly crap but so many people can't be wrong to be honest so I'd say you're safe enough with the choice you made, hugely popular game with a good strong fanbase.

Call of Duty 2 is so cheap now though, about 10 euro here anyway new so it wouldn't hurt to pick it up in awhile.

 

yeah im thinking im just going to get CoD2 (even though i have enough games to play).. i think the WWII will be a nice break from bf2 and ghost recon... now its just to decide between cod2 and moh:a....

im thinking moh:a is more of a sp experience rather than a multiplayer bash

I would recommend you Day Of Defeat: Source on the steampowered.com platform. That's the WWII game also and I like it more than any WWII-based game.

 

I'd recommend playing COD in order. COD>COD2>COD United Offensive

 

ah i'll get to that - i just want to jump onto multiplayer and stuff

i have CoD but haven't played it for a long time, CoD2 im sure will be fun but im just going to use it for the multiplayer, i probably won't even touch the sp..

am i making the right choice for mp games in choosing cod2 over moh:a (wwII genre)...
