Is there anyone to extend the max core clock in rivatuner? My 8600m gt is currently maxed out at 715/900 (core clock at least) and riva tuner won't let me go beyond 715 - the bar ends at 715. is there anyway i can trick rivatuner into thinking i have a 8700m gt and let me raise it further?

I can't imagine that the card would even run at 700 stable - did you run 3dmark or anything else with these clocks yet?

    yup, heres the orb result

it's running crysis at 25-35fps on medium settings at 1280x800 stably for 4+ hours straight. this is using the laptopvideo2go 174.74 drivers..

it says 711/901 on the result browser, but it's stable at 715/901 as well

you're quite lucky then - my driver crashes after 25 seconds running at these settings (also 174.74). or did you do anything else than raising the clocks in rivatuner, like for example changing the voltage?

(my highest score was 5643 - but with OCed CPU from 2,4 to 2,71GHz and to be honest it's not that stable...)

You will have to use a bios level overclock to get the core past 715.
