    Rockstar uploading pirated game to steam?

    Malware in the crack code?

    A) There wasn't (we can't know if it was checked or not, but I'd assume so)

    B) In every game's EULA, you agree that damage to your software is possible through installation. So they're covered. There's nothing wrong with this, its there intellectual property and they can do what they want with it.

    None of that is the case - it belongs to Rockstar, the game is recent. Funny, there was no response from Rockstar claiming it was intended; in fact I'm pretty sure if you re-download it now you will not find the cracked binary or at least the crack logo. It's obvious this was a botch - a result of incompetency and laziness.

    And there wasn't a bullet in the chamber. Spin. Your turn.
    (we can assume it was unverified, see above and previous posts).

    This isn't about "being covered" it's about being irresponsible with computer security, which customers should be (and are) rightfully shocked at. Those who aren't probably do not have a solid grasp of software design and security issues.
