    My laptop is:
    T7300 C2D 2.00GHZ
    2GB RAM (667)
    160GB 5400rpm HDD
    256MB 8600M GT DDR2
    Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit

I'm guessing that this game should run pretty darn well on my system, but there's quite a lot of stuttering when you move the camera around, zoom in/out, and particularly when you try to build things. For example, a fairly simple rollercoaster - there is a big lag / pause before you can even see the blueprint, and then when the blueprint finally appears it is very 'laggy' when you try to move it around and decide where you want it.

I'm running the RT3 and Soaked! expansion pack. I've fiddled with the graphics settings but it hasn't really helped that much. I'm slightly confused since my laptop runs HL2 / Source games fine! Is it possibly a driver issue - I'm on 169.04.

(Great game by the way - I highly recommend it)

It's the 8600M GT stuttering problem.

But I don't have the same stuttering problems on other games? Do you know how to fix this problem for the 8600 GT then ... a new driver perhaps?
