    Heyy guys

I got the logitech rumblepad 2 and I wanted to configure it for fps games. I have been trying to configure it for tf2 but no luck. I select the gamepad as the input device in tf2 options and configure the keyboard keys but that means i can only strafe with my gamepad to move camera i have to use the mouse.

Do you guys know how i can configure it for fps games like hl, hl2, tf2 and couter strike.

honestly, you'll need a mouse and keyboard to be competitive with tf2.

as far as hl2, i guess you could get by as long as you set the game to "easy" difficulty. but you'll probably need to use the software that came with the gamepad.

it basically converts your controller inputs into mouse and keyboard inputs on the fly.

Because in all situations the mouse+keyboard=complete domination over game-pad. Just check out games like Shadowrun. All the PC players destroy the 360 players.

I think this is what you're looking for. :)

I ran into the same situation as you. I got this and it solved my problems and btw it's very easy to use. I can now play Doom 3 and COD4 as well as other FPS games and you can even enable the right stick to act as the mouse.

p.s. It comes with a 30 day free trial period.

I am aware of that but I got the rumblepad and I dont really play a lot of racing games so i just wanted to try it with fps games. If its not as smooth as keyboard + mouse then i'll switch back. Another reason is i keep the laptop on my lap or the bed so i cant really use an external keyboard and mouse (too much hassle) that is y i want to try the wireless gamepad.

thanks for the help rodknee. I am at work so i'll try it out when i get home.
