has anyone played this game or currently playing it. ive been testing it out and havent decided if i liked it yet. everything seems so huge and so many different things its kinda hard for me to wrap my head around it. i have a character that is level 7 so far. just curious if anyone was engaged in the game and what classes are the ones that are in demand or good combos to use or any other experiences you might have with it.

Tried it a few times and as with all MMORPGs i don't feel part of the game or have any relationship with my character, plus the game just revolves around killing hordes of bad guys nout else lol.

I've tried it and sucked at it :p But really, it doesn't have a proper storyline quest. It mimics WoW in gameplay but doesn't feel as epic. But then again, for a free to play MMO it's not that bad

what surprised me was how polished it was. for something that was so complete and ran just as smooth as wow but free. it just makes me wonder how it was even possible. the amount of art resources alone is staggering.

if no one really has much experience with it maybe i will push my character until level 20. give it a fair shot. since its free why not.

This is one of the reasons I cannot get too much into MMORPG's.
Too many generics, little to no coherent story, practically no character development.
It just seems all ... discontinued.
    Even in ST: Online.
I was hoping they would adopt most of the original ideas, but unfortunately, it turned into 'same-old'.

MMORPG's don't really keep my attention for long.
Their 'novelty' runs out in about a week ... maybe two.
Besides, I'm not the type who likes multiplayer in the first place.

the only mmorpg game i truley enjoyed was the original no expansion everquest. when i played it i had no idea what a persistent world was. All i knew was you had to pay to play. i got it release day. I had seen maybe 2% of the world and had no idea how truely seemingly large it was. I was an enchanter for crowd control. If i screwed up, everyone dies. its as simple as that. I have stopped the largest trains and bum rushes / bad pulls you have ever seen. i built up a reputation for being good. real reputation among players not points or icons. anyway i miss that. being as important to a group if not more important then a cleric. alas to many expansions for me. level 60 was enough. i wasnt going any further.

Ive played lots of other mmorpg like DAOC and WOW. never was as fun as being the most important person in the group though. so was never the same.

Last multiplayer games that actually gripped me was Diablo 2 & CS nothing else since then has even come close, though I'm quite enjoying league of legends at the moment but its not really MMO.
