I noticed that when I use the auto detect settings to find the right settings for my video card it always detect as high but for somereason it's kinda laggy on high even the game recommends to use high. Does others have the same problem that when they use the auto detect settings on Runescape it isn't really smooth when playing? All I know that my computer should be good enough to run Runescape on high since the game detects that it can run on high.

What happens if you lower the settings though? Do you still get lag or does lowering fix the problem.

    If it lags lower settings?

And please don't turn a simple question into an 8 page thread that almost turns into a flame war like a lot of your previous threads have.

Well I just wonder if in general does the auto detect settings work for games like Runescape?

They work to a certain degree. Some better than others. If you try the recommended and it doesn't work then you adjust it from there.
