I saw a new Fujitsu using:
    S3 Graphics™ GammaChrome XM18™ ULP MPM-64 with dedicated 64MB video memory, PCI Express™ X 16

never heard much about S3 cards.. what is this one in particular, comparable to?

    Que?

He doesn't have that laptop...he said he saw one. And newer integrated graphics solutions are much stronger than some older dedicated ones.

No benchmarks that I could find on a quick google search...but seems like it'd probably be just a bit worse for 3d than the ATI x200 if I had to guess. Not really a bad integrated option.

The unit is DEDICATED, not integrated. Honestly, for 3D performance it's probably going to be less than stellar, but it's my understanding that the S3 Chrome parts have absolutely wicked battery life and power management. I'd probably take a chance on it.
