I just installed that game , Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and its working just fine with everything on max and aa , its an awesome game indeed.

But whenever I try to start the multiplayer it lags so bad (like every 2 seconds) , its actually unplayable.
The graphics dont look the same either , they look horrible and still the game lags so badly that I have to minimize it and then use the task manager to end it.

Does anyone of you guys have any experience on playing that game online on a 8600m gt?

    well thanks for the help!

Chaos Theory is incredibly shader intensive, which the memory bandwidth on the 512mb DDR2 8600m GT is lacking in. Thats if I remember right...

The 8600M GT should be able to run SC without any issues. I would suggest that the OP make sure that the game is fully patched.

SC:CT's multiplayer mode has always been a pain in the ass to use.

Yes I do, and the single player works just fine indeed.
However the multiplayer, either the coop nor the versus will work >_<
