Nothing much, just an intro of Zerg. Google it, I saw it from www.kotaku.com Basically, it's the old Zerg. But whichever scene that has Zerg in it looks like the scene from 300. Just that the Zergs are not the spartans.

I spot something new in this video:

1:20 something is spewing orange acid fluid (? )onto terran buildings. possible new unit? or new hydralisk kekeke
1:32 the fish looking creature is it new defiler or new air unit?
1:36 it seems ultralisk got burrow (?) ability.
1:40 the fish looking creature take on battlecruiser using unknown attack type.
1:47 some big daddy is attacking with huge claws and it doesn't look like ultralisk, a new unit?

that's all I can spot right now, the video quality is rather blurry xD

EDIT: another new video with more zerg gameplay.

The graphics are very disappointing to say the least... hopefully they will improve by release time.

It`s not disapointing at all. It`s RTS and it`s meant even for the less performant systems. It`s actually a nice continuation of SC1 and BW.

Fish looking flier is the corrupter, causes enemy units to turn to your side temprorarily and acts as a stationary turret.

Orange fluid spewing thing is the Infestor, which can infest terran buildings, which in turn produce infested terrans.Infested terrans are basically similar to the Terran Marine but move slower.

Ultralisks appear to be capable of burrowing now.

The unit with really long claws might be the Queen. The SC 2 queen, which now behaves very differently from the first.

The rolling exploding balls are banelings, which are evolved from Zerglings.

PS: Ignore the crazy font changes. Multiple language support is a pain in the ass.

All of the "Surrounded by Zerg units from all sides" shots in the video look pretty neat, but I am a little bit underwhelmed by the number of units on the screen at one time.

After playing more recent games like Supreme Commander or Dawn of War and seeing hundreds of units going at it all at once, the 20 versus 60 zerg battles in all of these SC2 videos make things a little bit less epic.

Otherwise, the game looks neat and I am still looking forward to it.

Scalable graphics or not, those screenshots aren't much better than Warcraft 3; not a complement.

Having recently reinstalled War3 just for kicks, and having watched all the SCII gameplay demos so far, I can say with absolute certainty that this statement is completely false. War3 looks like trash compared to SCII, even at this stage in development. BUT everyone is entitled to their own opinion :p

http://sclegacy.com/ has more Zerg info too btw

Can't wait for the release! I have no idea what you guys are talking about but the graphics looks great, but then again I still find the first one's graphics good (prefer it over WC3's graphics at least).

I find SC1 in many ways timeless, including the graphics.... they don't look dated like many PS1 and N64 era games do (mainly because it's not 3d)

I just hope that it comes out this year already.

I am already tired, waiting for 10 years.

The graphics are Great!!!!! I Don't really know why people say that the graphics are crap.

I think the graphics are like that so many Computers can play it. Not only the ones with dedicated graphics card.

this game looks like a boatload of fun!

And whoever thinks the graphics look on Par with WC3 either hasnt played WC3 for a while, or is on a hallucinogenic that I would like to try.

To tell you the truth, I`d pay 100$ for this game.
I mean, I still play SC and BW ,after 10 years. Money well spent.
And I remember the videos, those and Diablo 2`s videos made history...
Can`t wait for this freaking game to be released already...I sure hope it`d be here before fall 2008...

But that's Starcraft. More focus on fewer units than the grand scale battles with hundreds upon hundreds of units. I quite like the low unit quotas, it makes you focus more on management of the units than creating hoards of them and just throwing them at the enemy.

Sometimes hordes are fun to play with.
i.e: zerg rush with bunch of them coming and at the end of the battle, you see bunch of "ketchup" on your screen. :p
Anyway i am looking forward to it. Lol i wonder what would the korea be if i go visit korea XDD when it is released first time!! -->ppl fighting over the game in the store.

On the contrary, I love the GFX. Plain simple blizzard cartoon style GFX. Don’t tell me you want crysis spec’ed ultra realistic GFX. Then you’re looking at the wrong game. Look at WoW, aged GFX but still pretty to look at. Blizzard has this ability to create GFX which is not technically at the same level as say Epic or Crytek, but the create GFX which is timeless. Simple example, go back and look at Far Cry and doom3. The GFX looks utterly crap now. Now look a SC1, Diablo and WoW, not all that impressive on the tech front, but it still looks decend. SC1 and Diablo only needs a serious resolution overhall and it'll still look and PLAY great imo.

Blizzard is all about gaming and not about directx 100.1 and shader model 50...

Besides, I suppose we all are notebook users. I’d love to run this game maxed out in the GFX department on my 8600m.

I hope that too (ok, in my case it will most likely be the 9500M GS, but since they are the same...!

Agreeing totalyt with the rest too!
i just hope that the gameplay is not going to be wrecked by heroes or whatever like warcraft 3 (ok, heroes were funny at the beginning, but in the end it was the most important thing, and without a hero u were pretty much f***** up

Not likely. In the video , I saw some stuttering, and I am only assuming those GPUs were at leasth 3870s or 8800 GTs.
I`ll be ok with all high and 1024x768,but by the time the game gets released,I`ll probably have another GPU or another laptop.... :(

You could almost guarantee it will run fine maxed out with 8600m GT if it is released within the next year. Blizzard doesn't cater to the high end graphics market. They focus on what PC's the general public can actually afford. Their past success is somewhat attributable to this. Larger demographic never hurts!

While I do enjoy eye candy now and again, it better have good gameplay otherwise what's the point. Kind of like watching hours upon hours of a bad sci fi movie with cool special effects. The special effects carry the movie for 10 or 15 minutes after that you're bored.

This games graphics is comparable with AOK III. Uses the same kind of tech and the same havok physics. It'll run just fine on a 128MB DX9 card. There is just no way you'll require a 8800 GFX card to play this game maxed out.

Atm you can pretty much max out a game like bioshock if your notebook runs gddr3 ram with a 8600m GT. I highly doubt whether sc2 will be more resource intensive.
