    Hey fellas,

So i just bought sc2 about 20 minutes ago, pop the cd into the laptop and the cd won't read. The computer just keeps making noises. i have an intel i5 with nvidia 360gts; all my specs are above the requirements. I have no clue what's wrong, and it's driving me nuts. Any help?

    thanks

I'm pretty sure you can just go to battle.net and set up an account with Blizzard. Then input your CD key for SC2 into the website, and it will let you download the game rather than installing it from the disk.

EDIT: Just confirmed this. Go to battle.net, register your copy of SC2 with them, then download away!

It could be a bad disk, or you could have a bad drive or a bad setting for your drive.

However no matter the problem I have a fix.

Create an account or log into your existing account on battle.net

    https://us.battle.net/account/creation/tos.html

Register your game via its CD-Key

After that you can download the digital copy of your game at any time and avoid having to install from disk.
