What is the game client? Im downloading it for mac right now and its 6.99gb and only a little over 1gb is done.. I was playing the game on single player and on the second mission the screen was glictching a little and eventually "crashed" Not sure if this is because I didnt download the client or what. I left all the resolution options for gameplay on default. I have the 2010 macbook pro 13. I often lose connection to the internet through wifi in my house but I dont see why that would effect single player offline.

um the client is what you download to install the game. if you were playing single player already then i am guessing you already installed the game via cd so you do not need the client. im not sure about the crashing i mean i know it all seems to be online now even the campaign so if you are doing single player while logged on to your bnet account and you disconnect that may cause it to crash.

    The client is the game.

If you bought the game in a store you can install from disk. If you got a digital purchase of the game or ever need to download the game after you registered your phisical game copy you can download the client instead of installing from disk.

In my case I got a collectors edition of the game, installed it by disk on my desktop and registered it so its part of my battle.net games tied to my email address.

Later that day at work I wanted to install it on my laptop and forgot the disk at home so I downloaded it instead.

Its a nice system Blizzard has for most of their games to allow you to have a digital version as a backup to your physical copy of your game.
