SPOILER - Crysis - can't get past a level

I've been playing crysis for a few days and trying to get through the mission.
I am soooo mad at the developers for cause the gameplay is so horrible.
I've been doing it on easy and there have been many areas so far that I've had a tuff time knowing where to go and what to do.
Ive managed to get the the part where you're on that ship and there's that huges spider thing that grabs you and all.
I have the tac gun but I don't know how to destroy the spider.
The tac gun won't lock on and I don't know what to do.

BTW I'm playing on a gway p7811fx.


Also those guys who created crysis copied halo2 with that spider.
In halo 2 its called a scarab and it's just like the spider in crysis.


Please help me I've been trying for 3 hrs to kill the spider

 

Calm down, stop cursing, and for the sake of everyone here stop whining.

You're on the last mission right? Shoot at its mouth . . . thing. Use the minigun and the rail gun. It takes a while but is definitely possible.

 

Not quite sure what part of the level you mean.

Do you mean the huge "mothership" that confronts you when you are on the deck of the carrier?

If so, I think you have to take out the four gun turrets on it. Use the gauss rifle for that. It should take a few shots to destroy each one. After you get all four, then your TAC should work.

 

Ok that's funny as soon as I saw your reply I did it and it worked.
Now that the spider is dead I have to kill that huge thingin with the tac gun but it won't lock on.
Am I doing something wrong I have already taken out the 4 turrets.

I think he means the exosuit which appears before the mothership. It takes only 3 to 4 rockets to kill it. As regards to the large aliens with tentacles,a round or two of minigun is enough.

 

Did you try it after the girl tells you to use it?

 

Once you take down the turrets, you will be intimated that you can use the tac cannon. Aim the cannon first on the left wing, wait for the energy bar to fill and then shoot it. Rinse and repeat.

 

DONE!
I restared the level and took out the gun turrets then as soon as the girl said to use the tac gun on the cannon I did and it worked amazingly.

So I finished the whole mission finally.
I think that the developers should've made it much easier to know what to do.
I played it on easy because I wanted to know the storyline.
They should have "easy" actually be easy

I through some hard punches at my desk because I got so frustrated with it.

Crysis Warhead was harder than Crysis to me, I played both an Delta. Both were still too easy to me.

 

erwallie, congrats on finishing Crysis!

To me, Warhead was easier.

 

The final level of Warhead is much better than the final level of Crysis,atleast it seemed so to me.

 

i can't finish warhead 'cause it crashes on From Hell's Heart. i've tried reinstalling but it doesn't work still.

 

I found both Crysis games to be relatively easy, but a whole lot of fun. I have beaten Warhead several times and it is a fantastic game, more enjoyable than the original Crysis. Definitely worth the $30.
