Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew what the hell is up with SW:TOR. Sometime last week it decided to start stuttering and slowing down, coupled with the most annoying audio crackling ever. At first I thought it might be a graphics issue, so I updated my 7970m to the latest drivers (13.2) but nothing happened; I turned the graphics down and nothing happened either.

Nothing of the sort happens with FIFA 2013 or ME3, which leads me to believe this is a SW:TOR problem. Combing the interwebs comes up with lots of suggestions for client side fixes (fiddling with sound settings, deleting cache files, running in XP compatibility mode) which haven't solved the stuttering issue for me.

I'm running out of ideas guys -- anyone got any tips? Thanks!

Just for reference, as I know it'll come up, I'm running an i7-3610QM with 8GB of RAM and an ATI 7970m, all drivers updated over the last week (after this problem showed up), ping is 70-80ms, no other games report issues (which is remarkable given the 7970m's reputation :p).
