    If you haven't already signed up it was turned on yesterday. I did a search to see if this has already been posted and didn't come up with anything. I hope any who are interested are able to get into the site and get signed up. www.swtor.com

    I would keep getting stuck at the scan of my hardware. Will have to try this again when I get home.

    I got lucky at about 11:30 Eastern last night. I'm hoping that people will be able to signup today though. I received like 10 duplicate confirmation emails as part of the process. :D
    That includes the hardware scan. You have to be logged into the site. You have to install an active x control that allows the hardware scan to run. Once complete it will list some information about your system. There is also a page where there are checkboxes to confirm you have signed up for beta and that you have finished the hardware scan.

    Successfully got through the signup process and system scan.
    Hopefully, I get to be a beta tester. I grew up on Star Wars and this looks to be an amazing MMO, and I'm not really into them....

    after the relative dissapointments that came about after the massive hype surrounding the latest big MMO's: Warhammer and Age of Conan, I'm trying my hardest to stay even-keeled when it comes to SWTOR...

    still, I loved SWKTOR I and II so damned much, and I loved the original SW Galaxies MMO, it's really hard not to go hyper gaga over this...

    Seems like the site is functioning better last night and today. If you follow the suggestions about installing active x and other issues you probably will get to go through the whole application process.
