sacred 1 lots of fun. sacred 2... well its fun for a few hours then its old and repetitive. but its 3d. After a few levels there really is no challenge. you kill with ease. I suppose you can work to get to the higher difficulties and then it becomes a bit of a challenge but to spend 7 hrs just to get to a decent difficulty (Niobium) for each character is boring.

i found the difficulty levels to be fine, as long as you dont play it on bronze it is a challenge and if you dont find any challenge you could always play in the mode that if you die you lose your character..not sure what its called though, but its a huge game and i think other than diablo2 which is aging alot now and Titan quest its about the best around at the moment.

the mode is hardcore. I could give it a whirl on that difficulty. I guess I sounded really negative. Its just i feel kinda dissappointed. sacred 1 had alot more action even for iso hack and slash. the humor is in both games and i like it. Its just.. well its not as fun as sacred 1 in my book. its a good hack and slash and pretty and class paths are unique each time around. It just feels slower paced than sacred 1. However I am going to get the expansion since i wanna play either a dragon mage or a MALE High Elf.. (just don't like playing chicks ;D )

Ohhhh ok mate its cool, i wasnt trying to be critical of your view, i havent played sacred1 and this was the first arpg ive played since diablo2 i was plesently surprised, it holds its own quite well, i also dont like playing chicks and am rather looking forward to the expansion, i just finished titan quest + expansion yesterday so this release will be perfect....its a solid game and having the extreme mode of hardcore could really make for some interesting fun.

I have a good time with Sacred 2.
It is a nice relaxing hack-n-slash (or blast) stress-reliever.

As for the concern over which gender the pixels are...
They are pixels... the gender of pixels is not at all important.

This doesn't change the fact my favorite class is still the shadow warrior. :)

Lol, well lets agree to disagree about the pixel gender issue and completely agree about the shadow warrior being the best class ;)
