I have a 17 inch sager. the basic info is the
    GPU - Ge Force 860m 2gb
    CPU - i7 4710MQ 2.5 GHz

I am having trouble running newer games, even ones that dont seem too high demanding such as Woolfe Red hood Diaries or Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Definitely cant run bigger games than that. I was thinking it was my graphics card. Any opinions or information is welcomed! I'm also not sure what next best card to get is. I was looking at GeForce 880 4gb?

For one I would make sure that the dedicated GPU is being used with those games. Double check in Nvidia Control Panel, it may be defaulting to the Intel GPU. And make sure your power profile is set to maximum performance.
