So with the new Prince of Persia movie out in the theatres, I had a sudden urge to go back and play Sands of Time on my new PC. Bought it for £2.50 on ebay and spent about an hour messing around with xpadder to try and get that working so I could use my 360 controller on it only to fail at getting it to run in widescreen.

I have the UWS patcher and attempted using that but as my copy of the game is the CD version, and does not include the cracked .exe as required by the patcher, that rules out that option (my university cracks down hard on torrents so there's no way I can come across a cracked version online).

Any ideas if there's anything I can do?

You probably have to manually edit the resolution in your registry.

Can't find any editable files - problem hopefully solved thanks to RaYYan though! Still struggling to get the UWS patcher to work though...

    EDIT: Totally works! Awesome!

For those wanting to use the 360 controller it is supported already, no need to kill yourself using xpadder :p

Just go to controls > gamepad > double click on each blue box, you will see a dash appear

Move/ press the key you want to assign

ATM I am using this config

    Jump: A
    Sword Attack: X
    Use Dagger: Y
    Cancel: B
    Camera Look: R1
    Special Action: R2
    Alternate View: L1
    Rewind/Time Power: L2
    Reset Camera: R3

    Hope this helps
