Rule #1: Never ***EVER*** buy a game based on a movie or TV show.

Batman Arkham Asylum is an exception, but it isn't really based on a movie or TV show, just the comic book character.

A-ha! So YOU'RE the one that bought it. ;)

No, I think everyone else here knows better to stay away from select movie-based games, not to mention the ones of the torture-pr0n variety.

The movie version of the games were terrible, Spiderman web of shadows on the other hand was a good game.

How did they manage to get any gameplay out of the movie series?

Anyways here's to not having a prolonged series of video games (god help us if we get eight games).

P.S. Fricking Spider Man: Web of Shadows is so poorly optimized. Doesn't even run well on my rig.

Yup! Sadly. This is the first SAW game so I was little excited as I like SAW series untill they took out SAW IV which completely doesnot make any sense. Its being streched like a chewing gum. Now SAW 2 game for me. :p
I might sell it on ebay today.

Well they're not the best but I enjoyed them. I will agree that Web of Shadows is far superior though.

Something's obviously wrong there because it runs pretty decently on my notebook.

I gave up on the game anyways. Prototype is way too similar to it, and I don't like Prototype (nor the fact that I paid $60 for it).

Saw actually sounds really good to mem because I like survival horror games with a lot of puzzle and adventure elements. Since this genre is pretty much non-existent (it mutated to shooters) now, I thought that saw might be the game for me.

I also liked the first two movies (I have only seen 1-3)

I'm not enjoying it. There's a combat system (which is slow and sluggish) that you don't even use.

Really, I'm probably going to give up on this PoS before even finishing it.

I loved the game but then again i'm a huge saw fan! It has tons of stuff from the movies like using the camera as a light source.Plus it had really good voice acting and some very cleaver traps. If your not a saw fan your not going to like it! If you are a saw fan most likely you will love it.

I wish there was a game patch for those who loves more blood and gore to feel the saw.
