    I still can't decide which first person shooter game to get! I have decided that I won't a rather scary one, that is similar to the arcade shooter "House Of The Dead", where you're in a haunted place shooting zombie's, skeletons, and other otherwise disturbing creatures. Please take a look at my specs listed in my signature (take my resolution into account), and recommend to me good games to suit the above description. Thanks!

    I´d recommend going to Gamespot or similar: their tags system will easily offer you many more titles than we can remember (and they will generally include a detailed review).

    HL2 has lots of zombies in it, but it's not really scary. DOOM 3 can be pretty scary, but its more demons than zombies. FEAR is also very scary, and the atmosphere is very well-done, but only the first time IMO. If you play fear again after you beat it, its not nearly as scary I find.

    Isn't there just any basic game where you blast your way through zombies in an abandoned scary house?

    Well, when you talk about "Blast" "Zombies" "Abandoned Scary House"... the only thing matches that description would be the Resident Evil series...
    Though, the series aren't particularly scary, but sure have tons of zombies and weird monsters to blast (with shotguns, machine guns, whatever you want...)
