    Screen Jumps A Little When Playing Games (Alienware M14x)

    when im playing the witcher 2 and shogun 2 the screen jumps a little when im moving camera. the fps is around 40 for both so i know the graphics aint the problem. its like lines across the screen when im moving but when everything is still it seems to be fine? anyone know what the problem is? p.s im kinda a noob with pc's lol

    Also the lines seem to appear in the middle of the screen and rise to the top :/ please help guys its extremely annoying.

    I dunno sounds like screen tearing. Have you tried enabling v-sync and see if the lines appear?

    It really sounds like a V-Sync issue that you are having to be honest.

    Also, one thing that I have noticed when having an issue like that on my laptop, it will occur when I unplug my laptop to battery and then plug it back in later to use it for a game. So what the GPU will do (more glitch) is lock the GPU clock speeds at something low and my screen will jump around a lot, especially during cinematics and such.
