    Hi,

I just received my new ASUS F3SV-B1 w/ the 256MB 8600GS. The resolution is 1680x1050. However, on the slider bar under "change resolution attributes" I cannot switch to 1440x900 or 1280x800. I only get odd ratio choices like 1400x1050 or 1280x960...

Is this a driver issue ? I haven't updated the video drivers yet. If it is a driver issue, which of the new nvidia ones are recommended. Should I DL them from the nvidia site or use those on 'laptop2go' ?

    Thank you !

This is a driver issue. You can manually add the resolution to your INF files:
    http://forums.nvidia.com/lofiversion/index.php?t37318.html
Or you can try to add a custom resolution with the control panel:
    http://www.overclock.net/faqs/109330-how-add-new-resolutions-using-nvidia.html
(using the nv control panel may or may not work depending on your driver version)

However, before you do either of the above I highly recommend you upgrade your video drivers, using the latest release for your operating system on LaptopVideo2Go.
