I've noticed screen tearing during Netflix video playback.

I have vSync enabled in Catalyst, but it doesn't seem to be working in the Netflix silverlight player.

Is there a way to adjust the silverlight settings to enable vsync?

I think it's 10.9, but I'm not sure exactly where to check.

When I look at the information center in Catalyst it indicates

    C.C.C. Version 2010.0302.2233.40412

    driver packaging version 8.712

The tearing doesn't seem to be as noticeable during so-called "HD" quality netflix video playback, but in SD playback it is quite severe whenever the screen pans left or right.

do you have the newest version of silverlight installed?

did you try an older driver to see if its a bug with the new driver?

I updated to the latest silverlight. It seemed to reduce the tearing very slightly, or perhaps not at all.

You have 10.3 installed, I would update to 10.8 and see if that fixes it.

    For future benefit :)
Current versions of CCC now put the version # right into the Info Center (older versions don't, iirc).
