I've been playing a lot of game for the past weeks and there are plenty more games that i havent even seen/heard. Currently trying to search for a not-so big title game such as STALKER ( to me its not-so big title game because i cant find it at my place). Crysis, Two-world or Oblivion, Half-life 2 are all the big title games that i have played. I've also already played BG series, Diablo series, and warcraft series.

Can any of you guys recommend me some games that are not on the list or RARE/ not famous games that are probably good to you?? I really need some new games to kill time.. :D

My gaming type are RPG, FPS, Free-roaming, Good N Evil Choice, Action-rpg style battle, and also some old school game.

Games that i have played are:
    1) Oblivion and Morrowind

    2) Crysis, Fear, Orange Box, COD4, Rainbow 6, Gears Of Wars, Splinter Cell series, Unreal Tournament, and Doom series.

    3) Two-world and Gothic 3 (yeah i know it sucks but those two games are the only new one around at my place :D )

    4) Sudeki.

    5) Vampire: Masquerade Bloodline.

    6) Jade Empire.

    7) KOTOR series.

    8) Fable: Lost Chapter.

    9) Obscure 2.

    10) Assassin Creed

    11) Dungeon Lords

    12) Neverwinter Nights and NWN 2.

    13) BG series, Diablo series, Planescape: Torment, Fallout series.
    Currently playing:
    1) STALKER and Gothic 3 :D

If you have played NWN2 and liked it, definately try The Witcher. Its not that the games are similar really, but for some reason they did have a similar feel for me.
Anyways I would recommend The Witcher. Its also much less buggy then gothic 3. How can you even play Gothic 3? Ive tried numerous drivers and after like 30 mins - 1 hour I get a memory leak error and it crashes. Sometimes its just 10 minutes till I get the error.

Dungeon Keeper 2! Old ... but the gameplay is very good. Can't really remember how challenging it is, but it's definitely very original and allows for some creativity :)

Also, try Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 :)

knights and merchants was really good, might not be up your street, but you can have as many men as you can fit on the level, and can make your cities infinitely big, do whatever u want really, i remember once having a whole 9/10 of the map built on, it was just one huge city, and the last section was my army ready to storm the last enemy building.

also agree that dues ex is a good one

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is available on STEAM, by the way, the place where you get/play Half-Life 2.

While it doesn't fill about 1/3 of your criteria, I still think Beyond Good & Evil (NOW ON STEAM!) would be enjoyable. It is an older/unknown game released a few years ago.

    EDIT:

System Shock series is seconded. System Shock 2 is the one with RPG elements, but I liked 1 as well (good for the story, if you can stomach the early 90s graphics). Bioshock is also pretty darn good.

Actually there are good mods out there. The latest official patch combined with the player-made patch (google it) have made the game quite bearable i've heard.

Not sure what rare/not famous means...but based on your list, I would recommend:

    - Mass Effect (on the PC but it's quite famous)
    - Fallout/Fallout 2 (graphics on par with Baldur's Gate and get ready for #3...these titles and Freedom Force are the best of the bunch, in my opinion)
    - Icewind Dale/Icewind Dale 2 (same folks as Baldur's Gate)
    - Freedom Force/Freedom Force vs Third Reich (RPG w/ superheroes)
    - Beyond Good and Evil (adventure RPG and get ready for its sequel)
    - Sid Meier's Pirates!
    - Arcanum (cheesy graphics but interesting steampunk atmosphere...real time combat didn't quite work out, but nice try)

And more recently in the Diablo vein...

    - Titan Quest/Immortal Throne...

If your interested in a different type of video game try Savage: The Battle for Newerth, It mixes a RTS with a FPS that came out in 2003, only downside it online only.

    Basiclly concept of the game:
The players are divided up to 2 teams, on each team there is one player that is the commander type, he is the one that builds the base, the buildings, and gets the avaible upgrades for the players, the rest of the players are the soldiers, they run around the map trying to kil the rest of the players, typically trying to capture checkpoints. For every kill points are earned there are team points and your personally points, team points are used to build the base and your points you can use to purchase upgrades during the game. Never really got a firm grasp on the commader roll but the fps part was fairly fun.

Teams: There are two teams, Humans and these Beast Horde players, the one thing that made interesting is the weapons are the aniceint kind: bows and arrows, catipults, etc, althought you can get these type of magical items that look and perform as guns.

The greatest part of this game is it is now completely free, though it has been a few years since i've actually played it so i don't know how active it is. Its been free for quite a while, every since they started devolping Savage II: A Tortured Soul, which came out in January of this past year, which i believe cost about $30.00 and only aviable via Download.

Heres the link if anyone is interested:
http://savage2.s2games.com/gameplay_comm.php - The free download is under the tab Savage:The Battle for Newerth.

Have you played Deus Ex? Best FPS I have ever played, no exceptions. It is a cyberpunkish style game taking place in 2052. It is a mix of FPS and RPG, and does a very good job of it. You also have the power to effect various outcomes in the game, including the ending(s). Deus Ex was game of the year, but surprisingly, few know what it is.

Severance: Blade Of Darkness:A very good fantasy theme action game.Combat is quite hard and requires some getting used to, and some times the game is just painfully hard. But its awesome, one of my favorite games of all time. But play the Knight or the Barbarian, the dwarf and amazon are way to lame.
    What more?
Chronicles of Riddick:Escape From Butchers Bay Damn that game was awesome!Superb graphics for its time ,and great fun. You just turn off the lights, turn on Riddick's vision enhancement and instant carnage.
Aliens VS Predator 2 among the best fps off all time IMHO.A massive slaughter with the alien, a heart attack when playing the marine,or down the middle with the predator. And its absolutely the best game for a LAN-Party! ah memories ;) .

Undying, of course, no one has played - that was a fun and scary game for me, especially with surround sound.

Anachronox is another game no one has played. It starts out slow but the story and humor is all good times.

    Fallout 1 and 2 are must-plays.

I noticed someone mentioned the Half Life mods but not Half Life itself and the series that follows it. Very good game and story line.

I have played and finished Gothic 3 (as well as 1 & 2) and really enjoyed it. I guess I was lucky and had a system that played it fine with little to no bugs.

I only made it about half way through Obilivion before I got tired of it for some reason.

Have you tried Prey? Pretty cool game, a little short though. You can beat it in a full day.

Heh it is funny that the guy with a Dues Ex avatar showed appreciation for the game being represented, then the guy with a little hydralisk avatar mentioned Starcraft.

Deus Ex GOTY edition is on Steam for $10

If you want a free and quite entertaining game with not a ton of depth check out Soldat.... Awesome. Its not exactly Deus Ex but its fun in its own way.
