    Selling my X7200 for Alienware M18x. Good idea?

    Upgrade the GPU's and then down the line whack in a 980X or 990X when it is cheap :)

    The M18x is hardly going to be any more mobile than the X7200.... people hardly buy a gaming laptop for portability and battery life anyway!

    To answer your last post both seem roughly the same if you upgrade to 7970M. However a CPU upgrade for your X7200 might possibly be quite alot cheaper. Even the i7 980X costs less than $400 and is OCable with 12mb cache...

    I say forget the M18x and keep your beast. Better for the enviroment too :D
