September 15 will be a great day for PC Gaming!

Mark your calendars. September 15 (at least in USA) will be a great day for PC gaming. Several hot titles are being released at the same time. Fine by me. I plan on getting all of them eventually. Here there are, listed in my preference:

Red Faction: Guerrilla
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Need for Speed: Shift
Resident Evil 5
Majesty 2

 

I'm ready for Batman

 

and with the combined force of all those titles,that date will still fail in comparison to 11-10-09

 

Yes, yes, yes, we all know about CoD MW2. But that's later, not sooner. Carpe Diem my friend.

 

I'm pumped for NFS:S. I've been waiting forever for a NFS game without a crappy plot targeted that will inspire ricers everywhere. Red Faction as well, but not as much.

And BTW, I'm pumped for MW2, but more for the xBox.

 

Out of all of those, I'll probably only end up getting Batman (unless Red Faction is really really good). They should all be solid titles though.

None of those titles interest me at all, Modern Warfare 2 on the other hand does.

 

Gonna get all of them except Majesty 2 (no idea what it is and don't think I'll like it anyways ) and NFS:S (gonna wait for a few reviews before I make my decision this time after the last few disappointments)... It's gonna be an awesome day.

 

Havent played a good resident evil game in a while...so RE5 is what ill be playing until dragon age origins.

NOVEMBER will be the best month. DIRT 2 (DX11) and the almighty MW2.

Majesty had an interesting concept but poor execution, I wonder if the sequel will do better. It'll be worth a purchase if the reviews are favourable.

I don't care for the others, other than the eyecandy none of the gameplay templates suit me.

 

Man dirt already kicked the crap outta my lappy and I can't wait for dirt2 so I guess I need to upgrade too (I hate not having money)

 

I'm actually more excited for 9/4. Section 8 comes out on PC that day. I played the beta and I was extreemly impressed with that game. Really fun sci-fi FPS game that actually encourages teamwork rather than the lone-wolf style gameplay. Seems like it took the best elements out of the main sci-fi FPS titles and added in some fresh gameplay mechanics.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one who isn't interested particularly in any of the listed titles... (well, to be fair, not familiar with majesty 2. have to google it now - maybe it'll be something exciting... )

 

Maybe Batman here..............waiting on Dragon Age, Alpha Protocol and STALKER C.O.P. !

 

Man i cant wait for Dragon Age: Origins and being able to mod stuff makes it much more sweeter.

 

Looking forward to Majesty 2, being a strategy gamer.

 

Batman AA has couch appeal so I went ahead already and picked up the 360 version.

The rest I don't care for. Maybe Majesty 1 & 2 thru Impulse since they have a deal on them.

I'm pretty sure they said DiRT 2 is coming out in December, they delayed it for DX11.

Grabbing Red faction and Batman on day one. Resident Evil 5 got bumped to the 29th though which is probably a good thing since i dont need 3 new games in one day ..

i just heard that the PC version of Red Faction is gonna include the DLC and all the extra maps that wasn't included in the console vanilla version.

NFS: Shift is already coming out? Wow, that came outta left field. I haven't decided if I want to get Batman for PC or 360 yet. I know I'm gonna buy it, just haven't decided where.

Edit: I haven't really decided on NFS:Shift yet, either. If it's too much like Forza, I'll just play Forza. I'll miss the customization and street racing of NFS:MW or Underground 2. Oh and I'm not a ricer, I drive an F150 with no "external" mods.

 

I just realized how horrible that day is going to be since school has started to become busy for me and I can't decide on what game to purchase first. Maybe you guys can help me, I have decide to choose between Resident Evil 5 or Batman?

Hmmm, I think that MW2 in my opinion is something more to look forward to than all the ones listed.

 

I for one am both happy and sad by the list of games coming out 9-15-09.

Happy as can be I can get N4S Shift and RE5! I have been wanting to try Red faction too but I want the new call of duty more.

I will be sad because I am pretty broke this month so either I will have to wait a bit to buy the games I want or I will be eating ramen noodles while I play my games for the next month.

 

I've always said that the best financial strength my wife and I have in life is that we like ramen noodles and mac n cheese... so if we ever are reduced to eating that because of lack of money, we're ok...

Speaking of financial ruin, I better go and see what she's been spending on webkinz...

I want to try out all the games but the one I would like to play first is without a doubt Batman. Need for Speed could also be worth purchasing but it will probably be just the same as the other games in the series.

 

I always believe that NFS will only be at its best when its developed with the story of street racing rather than other types like the one they did it on NFS prostreet and now shift.

I am not really expecting a lot from it.

 

IGN review (& video review) of NFS shift is out... 9 out of 10!!
According to the review (4 pages!!) things are looking really good this time.
