I have been having serious problems with my Asus G1S recently. After I start playing any game for a while I get horrible framerates (1FPS) for five or so seconds. Then it gets back to normal, but within a minute it gets back to it's 1FPS crawl. Does anyone have any suggestions? THis is really annoying.

First of all, you 'll need drivers from laptopvideo2go to make the most of your machine, and then, more importantly, the only way to play judder free as soon as your GPU heats up will be to use the sleep trick.
Results are good for a notebook, but this baby runs hot. -
The 8600M GT is know for its notorious stuttering effects and there is NO cure except switching to newer drivers from laptopvideo2go.
You`ll have to try them individually, but 169.25 is fairly recommended for you. -
And as soon as you use the newer drivers, after playing for 5 mins, your GPU temp will probably rise to above 95 degrees, after which you'll get the famous G1S judder. Sleep trick time !
