I was just wondering what is the best setting?

    16mb
    32mb
    64mb
    128mb

Will it make any difference in Windows XP SP2, not for gaming atall. Just Internet, Web Design, Programming, Office 2007.

How much system ram do you have?
If you have 1GB, go ahead by all means set to 128MB.

For 512MB and lower, set it to 64 or 32.

The difference you'll see is the slight increase in OS responsiveness. As they always say, the more (System) ram the better.

I have 512mb now and its on 32mb.

I am buying 2 x 1GB sticks of RAM though at the end of the month to upgrade to the 2GB maximum that is supported by my notebook.

When you get your 2GB of RAM go ahead and set your video card on 128.

For now, 32Mb is fine for XP. You could pop it on 64 but I think the extra system ram would do much more for you. As has been said when you get your 2Gb ram i'd pop it on 128Mb no question!
