    Shared Video memory

    I've ordered the Samsung R40 with the T5500 processor.

    It comes with Xpress 200M + 128mb dedicated memory and then can use a further 128mb or 256mb of system memory from what i have read.

    I'm not a gamer but the first thing i plan to do is install Vista and having only 1GB of system memory would there be an option to disable memory sharing in the Bios?

    Yeah, there is usually an option to disable the shared 128MB of memory in the BIOS. I had a notebook with the same GPU and didn't notice any difference with it enabled or disabled honestly.
