well just one question...When i used to have my normal xxodd drivers my g-card was showing 756shared and 256 somthing dedicated but with the new .6901 DRIVERS i got from laptogo it is showing 256 dedicated memory and 1279shared memory wich add up to 1535mb total:S

Lol is this a kind of over clock or a bug?Isnt the max mem it can hold makes a plus to 1gb (256+756) not 1535:S

Where does it say that the max shared memory is 756?

It's not a bug, it's just what the new drivers do.

I would say this probably has something to do with how much memory you have installed, how much vista is taking up, etc...I don't know anything about the new drivers except that there is a 169.04 driver now, maybe try that and see what happens...

    Hope this helps! :)

I have downloaded o1 and not o2 since some1 said that 01 is a little more stable or the same as 02 and isnt 04 still on beta?

I dunno on the reviews i hear that max sharedmemory of 8600mgs is 756:s bdw i have a 4gb lap running on vista 32bit atm

It isint waisting me 1.2gb sharedram right since vista only uses it when it needs too,....am i right?

The highest spec I have seen for the 8600m gs is 1024 shared that is with 2gb ram installed. With 4gb installed and 32 bit vista it will only detect 3gb ram i think...And the turbocache software might just take half of the shown available ram for shared graphics...Not sure on this maybe do some research on turbocache on that driver.
    Good luck!

In task man it is still showing the same ammout as took on ideal as it was from the previous drivers...something about 800mb ideal or so ...i think this shows that ram wasnt wasted because of the new drivers i installed it just added the graphic card more to use shared ram....well my shared ram increased by 512mb .

Im not a computer pro and i suck at lappy's so if some1 can just help me a little
