I just realized I have 3 guest passes to Shattered Horizon game on Steam. It looks like they expire Dec 16, so would like to offer them to people here. It seems this is like a trial period, so you will no longer be able to play after December 16, 2009.

Keep in mind that the system requirements are very steep. You need DirectX 10 and a powerful video card and CPU to run it.

Game details can be found here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/18110/

I don't want them to go to someone that can't run it. So to get one, please post your system specs, and list one good reason why you like notebook PC gaming over consoles. :D

    The required specs are here:

    Minimum:
OS: Windows Vista/7 (Does not support Windows XP)
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 / AMD Athlon64 X2 5600+
    Memory: 2GB
Graphics: 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT / ATI Radeon HD 3870
    DirectX®: 10 (Does not support DirectX 9)
    Hard Drive: 1.5 GB
Sound: Windows Vista compatible sound card

    Recommended:
OS: Windows Vista/7 (Does not support Windows XP)
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 / AMD Phenom II X4 940
    Memory: 2GB
Graphics: 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 / ATI Radeon HD 4870
    DirectX®: 10 (Does not support DirectX 9)
    Hard Drive: 1.5GB
Sound: Windows Vista compatible sound card

The game is terrible. Not worth the download IMO.

It's worth a free trial IMHO since there is no demo. The game is worth $10 and should run on much less of a system IMHO, but it is what it is, and it's only a little over 1GB download.

Pc gaming in fps = more intense than controller on consoles and pc gaming usually has much better graphics than consoles.

I think I can only be fair and give to the first three. I was just trying to make it fun. They're all Asus though for crying out loud! :)

Check your PM's. If any of you want to relinquish your free trial to Red Dragon, let me know. He deserves one. But by all rights, I think anyone else that pre-ordered got three free guest passes. So we'll find one for ya Red Dragon!

WHAT? They're gone now! I don't know what happened. It said "3 Guest Passes" and now it says nothing. I'll figure out what happened. This ticks me off!

    Sorry guys.
