    From the gamespot article.

I've skipped Rome, Medieval 2 + expansions, Empire + Napoleon so I'm well behind on the franchise. This is the game I'm waiting for to test out the incoming X8100 I ordered a month ago (hopefully it arrives).

Bah a very long wait :(

This better be worth it. Shogun Total War is the one I loved best among all the total war series :D

I have a love and hate feeling towards the Total War series. Everytime i start playing them I get hooked immediatly and have the best time.

On the other hand, these games stress my laptop too much. I just replaced my 8600mgt with an ati hd4670 for 200€ to be able to play Empire total war, and its still kind of bottlenecked by the 2ghz core2duo. I hold my breath how its going to handle Shogun 2 (which looks sooo awesome btw).

I didn't like Empire/Napoleon. Shogun 1 was amazing; ninja animations were the best :D.

Judging from the gameplay trailer, it looks like it's hurdling itself over Empire/Napoleon, and that is good. ヽ(´ー` ;)

Exactly, those gun battles were sooo boring (I just made tons of cavely and butchered everyone exactly the same like in the previous TW games). This is why i'm going to like Shogun way more, its back with swords, and have you seen those moves on youtube? totaly AWESOME!!

For me the best one is Rome Total war, I just love speech to inspire the troops before the battle starts. Its the best, the rest of the TW games have it but not like Rome. I am not sure about shogun since I have never played. Shogun is the only TW game I dont have. I have empire/napoleon TW but dont play it that much.
