    Hi all -- I saw this review when I was researching the new 20" HP HDX notebook and thought it might be of general interest here. Unfortunately it is rather short and with limited technical depth, but it does contain a few benchmarks for the new Penryn 2.5GHz CPU and nVidia 8800M GTS 512 MB GPU.

    Yeah!!! woohoo!! Hp finally steps up and puts a real Gpu in one of their laptops, thats a lot of machine for the money! Blueray for +250 sweet! Finally an HP that can game what took them so long?

    This thing looks great! 20 inch screen, 8800M GTS, penryn CPU...HD ,remote control, cool, allinone powerNgraphics house... :D And pretty reasonable price , 2500 $ ...

    15.8 lbs!!! WTF? My newborn barely weighs that and my back is sore from lugging him around.

    I'd like to see a 17" with similar specs @ less than 10 lbs.

    and the HP Site only lists the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT as its GPU.

    for now.....this would be a good for a person who loves portable multimedia because you can actually get good specs for under $3000 and could be the alternative to a desktop.
