This might be a simple thing BUT I had DOW2 and expansions downloaded on my computer and had the shortcuts with the box cover on the desktop. Wife played with computer and the Icons went poof. Don't ask me how. Checked the recycle bin and it was empty.

Anyways I added a desktop icon via Steam but its not the same one. Its for the right game but its a different icon. Is there a way I can restore the original shorcut icons?

right click on the Icon, click properties, go to the shortcut tab, click Change Icon, and pick. if it's not in there then I don't know what to tell you.

I figured it out. Since the games are STEAM games I right clicked on a steam game icon, doesn't matter which, selected open file location and found the correct icons there. Its a small thing but I think that the icons with the covers on them look cooler. ;)
