Hi,
I have a Radeon Xpress 200M chipset with a 128mb IGP (almost identical to the X300). I found out that I could enable UMA (ATI calls it HyperMemory) do get an extra 128mb from the system memory (2gb PC2700). Is it worth it? I read that it could either improve or decrease the graphic card performance. Here are the chipset specs: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_14603_14628^14631,00.html
Thank you very much.

I presume you know its a low end card to begin with. I'm not sure there is any point? In case you haven't already, see this thread for a read

There's no harm in trying, but I don't think that the Hypermemory will give it much of a performance boost. If there is any performance boost, it'd be very marginal.

Thanks guys,
Does anyone know a site where I could get info about shared memory and UMA? I'd like to get the most out of my low end video card.
Should I enable UMA?
