This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Should I join the band wagon?

    Had the same problem with games, and WoW to be more specific, but was mostly because i lost track of time (due to having too much fun usually :p), so what i did was to install an alarm clock and just set it when i wanted to read, go out, or do anything else and that pretty much solved my problem of getting carried away.

    Of course even with that you need a bit of a strong will so when you listen to the alarm you wont start "eh 5 minutes more" etc, usual waking up excuses lol. Depends on the persons character mostly. People change, thats how life is, some people dislike games as time goes by, others the other way around.
