I am buying a laptop for gaming and other work. I was thinking of getting either a Pentium M or Turion. The question is, if I decide on the Pentium M, should I wait for the new Yonah chips? How long a wait will it be until all the companies have it?

I would guess it takes a couple of months from the release before all companies are using it. There are a couple of previews out there so check them out to see if it has some features that you might have use of.

Not only that, but with the new stuff coming out there are usually a few bugs to work out and I would rather not to have to return my lappy after I get it.

If you budget is $500-750 or about... buy now. If your budget is $1500-2000 wait for the dual cores.
